CNC machines which
Can it combine operations?

We combine operations according to the geometry of the part. The following scope shows model capabilities and processes that require proper cutting tools; the method to be applied to the part is determined through technical drawing.

Turning and forming

  • Screw female diameter and gradual diameter turning
  • Internal diameter turning and hole magnification
  • Insertion turning and length completion
  • Conical and profile turning
  • Screw female / inner channel, segman duct and drain
  • Pah and radius processing
  • Screw Female / Internal Screw Female Turning
  • Cutting and separating from rod

Basic geometry of shaft, horoscope, pin and fittings.

Hole and screw female operations

  • Axial hole drilling
  • Radial and crosshole drilling
  • Punch, bark and gradual hole processing
  • Reaming with proper reaming
  • Internal screw thread opening with manual
  • Out-of-center hole processing based on axis and tool access
  • Angled hole drilling SR38 with Type B axis

The hole diameter, depth and position are handled together with the measurement plan.

Milling with live tool

  • Wrench flats and flat surface milling
  • Channel, slot and machined pocket milling
  • Contour processing on forehead and surrounding surfaces
  • Multi-surface processing angularly positioned with C axis
  • Off-center surface and machined pocket processing with Y axis
  • Angle milling With B-axis and suitable cutting tool in SR38 Type B
  • Pah and edge burr removal with milling

Cutting diameter, cutting tool length and accessible surfaces limit operation.

Transfer and parallel processing

  • Front-side processing in the main business mile
  • Synchronising transfer to the opposite business mile
  • Rear facing, drilling, threading and live-tool operations
  • Do not overlap front/backside operations
  • Operation balancing with top/bottom turrets at WY100V
  • Post-transfer height and reference completion

During transfer, the holding surface, clamping force and references are planned to be maintained.

Operations assessed with special unit and hardware

Screw Female Whirling

Machining external threads with a dedicated thread-whirling unit. This is a manufacturer option for the Star SR32J III; it is not presented as a standard service unless the installed unit is confirmed.

Polygon processing

The creation of multi-point screw female geometries with the special polygon unit. It is not the same method as flat surface milling; the control function and the cutting tool unit are evaluated together.

Helical / polar / cylindrical interpolation

With suitable control functions, axis combinations and live tooling, operations such as contouring, circumferential grooving and thread milling can be assessed. Software and installed equipment compatibility must be checked separately.

Channel broaching and angled cutter tool

The channel broaching and angled cutter tool holder is in our existing hardware. Internal duct / wedge channel brooching and angled hole / milling operations are planned according to the cutter tool profile, access, material and part geometry. The CNC machine and angle of approach for which the gripper will be used are determined on a piece basis.

Channel broaching and angle cutter tool holder are available. With the full variant of SB20, whirling and polygon units must also be verified. The presence of a process in the list does not mean that it can be applied to every material, angle, tolerance and geometry. Grinding, honing, erosion, heat treatment and coating are not included in the direct operation scope of these CNC machines.
