From drawing to production plan
FactorAB manufactures custom metal parts to drawing in Istanbul using Swiss-type lathes, CNC turning and mill-turn equipment. We review the geometry, material and critical features from your current drawing and, where available, STEP model. Functional dimensions, surfaces and datums form the basis of the production plan.
What should your enquiry include?
Please include the part number and revision, material grade and supply condition, prototype or batch quantities, requested delivery date and inspection scope. If the model and drawing differ, the governing documents must be agreed. A photograph can support an initial discussion but does not replace dimensions and tolerances.
Quotation and acceptance requirements
The quotation considers the machining method, setup, material supply and inspection requirements. Any heat treatment or coating requirements and responsibilities are agreed separately. Pricing and lead time are determined after reviewing the part documentation.
