MANUFACTURING CABLES
Contract Swiss-type parts manufacturing
Production of parts from the rod in Star Swiss-type CNCs; turning, rotary cutting tool and rear face operations according to the part.
Production plan by part.
Swiss-type CNC is a prominent method of evaluating parts that are suitable for production, especially from the rod. The suitability is not only determined by the part diameter: height, delicateness, material, back-side operations and control requirements also affect the production plan.
Numerical capacity and delivery conditions are clarified at the bidding stage in accordance with the installed machine hardware and technical requirements of the part.

| Title | Evaluation |
|---|---|
| Application examples | Pins, gradual shafts, horoscopes and fittings. |
| CNC machine infrastructure | 3 Star SR32 Type B, 1 Star SR38 Type B, 1 Star SB20. |
| Operations | External and internal turning, drilling, threading and live-tool operations are assessed according to the part and workholding conditions. |
| Material | Alloy steel, 304 / 316L stainless and brass. Material quality should be specified in the technical drawing. |
| Tolerance and surface | The measure in technical drawing is assessed on geometric tolerance and surface requirements. |
| quantity and delivery | Prototype and mass production demands; programming, cutting tool, material and control requirements are handled together. |
STAR SR38 TYPE B
How does the B-axis open up the possibility to the piece?
The B-axis changes the orientation of the live tool. Thus, features such as angled hole and angle milling on the part that require the cutter tool to approach from a different direction can be incorporated into the processing plan. The C-axis determines the angular position of the workpiece; the task of the two axis is different.

What to look for in technical drawing?
The angle, position, depth and tolerance of the hole or surface relative to the reference axis. The appearance on the model alone may not be sufficient for the measurement plan.
How is the operation chosen?
The length of the cutting tool, holder access, surrounding surfaces, part protrusion and probability of collision are evaluated together. Angled processing does not mean that each geometry can be produced in a single workingholding process.
Use on the front and back
The SR38 Type B manufacturer document defines the B axis for processing on the main and opposite spindle side. The actual order of operation is determined by the piece, the installed cutting tool equipment and transfer conditions.

Study sample operationsFrequently Asked Questions
Is every fine mile suitable for Swiss-type CNC?
The length and diameter relationship, working conditions, material and order of operation must be examined together. without technical drawing, no precise method selection is made.
Does the model name specify precisely the processable diameter?
The machine's installed hardware, manual horoscope and feeding conditions are important. The capacity suitability of your part is also assessed during the bidding phase.
