Batch production aims to reproduce the approved part under agreed conditions. At FactorAB, we consider sample quantities, production batch size and expected repeat orders separately. Distinguishing an annual forecast from a confirmed order helps define setup and capacity requirements.
Equipment and operation sequence suited to the part
Swiss-type turning is considered for parts suitable for bar-fed production, while appropriate mill-turn operations can combine turning and milling. Selection depends on quantity, length, diameter, workholding and inspection needs. Single-setup completion or an identical tolerance capability is not assumed for every part.
Revision control, inspection and delivery
Initial part approval, in-process inspection frequency, critical characteristics and reports are discussed during quotation. Include packaging, part marking and batch documentation requirements in your enquiry. Repeat orders must clearly identify the applicable revision.
